Decatur Chamber of Commerce - 2024 Ambassadors

As an Ambassador, you will be a front line representative for the Decatur Chamber of Commerce at events and activities throughout the year. You will assist with promoting, supporting, and the development of various Chamber events. As a dedicated volunteer, your time and talents will be appreciated and highly valued by the Board of Directors, Chamber staff, Chamber membership and community.

What is the criteria and expectations of an Ambassador?

● Ambassadors serve a term of one calendar year beginning in January.

● Ambassadors must be an employee of a current business or an individual member in good standing with the Decatur Chamber of Commerce. 

● Ambassadors must acquire the signature of their supervisor on the Ambassador Application showing approval of your active commitment, involvement and of your business’ support for the Chamber Ambassador Program. This ensures that the business member is aware of what the program entails.

● Ambassadors will need to obtain at least 15 points each quarter to ensure active status within this program or they will be dismissed or asked to resign. Points will be reported to the Ambassador Chair at the end of each quarter.
